Yinyun Seascape Resort （North Gate） — Hotel in Sanya City

We stayed for one night before our flight. It is very close to the airport, it took about 15mins in a taxi with some traffic. We couldn’t hear the planes in the room, but maybe rooms at the back of the hotel would be able to. We had a sea view room, it was spacious with a balcony. Two minute walk to the beach, which is very nice, clean and not busy. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. The hotel building and furniture is dated in appearance but clean and well looked after. The bed was firm but comfortable, with very soft sheets and comfy pillows. Towels and toiletries provided.There isn’t a door on the doorway to the bathroom, but inside the bathroom area the toilet and shower were in cubicles. The pool was a good size and looked clean. We didn’t end up swimming in it because we swam in the sea. There was a breakfast room but we didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the quality. There is a small shop next to the reception selling snacks, drinks and beach items reasonably priced. There is a small town within easy walking distance with lots of restaurants and local shops. One thing that some may find annoying is that between the road and beach there is a public walkway/park where locals play instruments, sing, exercise etc. At points during the day it was noisy. I stayed in this resort with my girlfriend in January 2013. The resort is really close to the airport, around 10 mins by taxi. The resort staff is really really nice, we only found available and funny people.||||Good rating for the position, which is really close to the sea, just crossing a not busy street, but NOT close to the city center of Sanya. To go to the city, 30/40 mins by bus.||||We booked an elegant standard room, that means a room in the basement. Is a little noisy, we could hear the planes taking off and landing, but after all we enjoyed it. Room and bathroom pretty clean.||||The pool is ok, tiny but clean. The restaurant is pretty good only if you like chinese food, in fact they only servers chinese dishes. Breakfast also ok, but chinese style.||||A really bat matter is that at night around the resort and on the seaside there are a lot of rats.||||Russian customers are the majority there, much more than chinese customers.||||I suggest this resort only if you budget is limited (we payed 280rmb per day) and only if you can adapt yourself to a chinese...

in front of a wonderful quiet beach,||me and my wife were guest last May, we loved the beach, the sun, and the sea. ||Breackfast is nice, supper is typically Chinese or oceanic, lovely agreable. ||||You can also eat good fish at the kioscks along the road or the beach ||or in one of lots of nice restaurant all around: ||be carefull at restaurants clearly ask for the prices before eating.||In many local restaurants, after you have eaten the prices are being raised ( ? ! ? ) ||||Shopping, visiting, sight seeing . . . are also easy to reach within 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi, ||close to the airport, ||easy to find, ||not too big and still international environment, ||but peacefull.||With a pleasant fresh swimming pool for night baths of non expert swimmers. ||The best place to rest or take a family to the beach to the sea, to the sun, to swimm. ||What else do you need? ||If you love the sea and China, this is the...
