A good business hotel for Shanghai. It's around half an hour from Pudong airport by a taxi. And half an hour to a major industrial area, with thier provided bus which is free of charge for the hotel customers. The price is right... for a big city like this. The room is big and quote new and well maintained. You got a sizable bathtub, two lounge chairs, one work station an dking size bed for around RMB500 in Shanghai...that's good for me. Only one bad thing is the internet connection (works only WiFi... the cable is dead) that is super slow, I need to tether from my mobile all the time that heavy download or upload (e.g. email attachment) are required. For casual serving, especially a local website, it's good enough. Oh this also comes with a big breakfast, Asian, Chinese or Western or American, you can have it all in the breakfast vanue. Next to the hotel is a mid size mall with food court underground and lots of other restaurant (from noodles to Sichuan hot pot) and fast food joints available (you name it Starbucks or KFC!) To the nearest metro station is around a mile walk... 15-20 mins. to get there and that can take you to the city center or airport (by meglev) quite easy and cheap. This place maynot be a dream destination for your getaway weekend... but for us,...

I've come here a few times and I see the condition keep getting worse. So many patrons are not appropriately dressed for gym as they are using barefoot to work out. Dangerous usage of weights and the staff does not educate them. Cardio machines are not wiped properly. A lot of sweat on the floor. Makes the place a disaster...
