Jinjiang Inn — Hotel in Shanghai

I only stayed one night as I was passing through Pudong Airport. Very very good facility for the price. Decent buffet breakfast available which is such good value. And there is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. My only problem is that when I booked, there was no information about how and where to get the shuttle bus. I couldn't get any internet access to contact the hotel. Nobody at the airport seemed willing to tell me where I might find a shuttle bus at least until after 3 hours of searching I went into the Airport Hotel and the very kind gentleman at the desk there contacted JinJiang Inn for me. From that, I learned that there was a particular place where all the various shuttle buses go. For some reason, absolutely nobody working in the airport had seemed to know this. For future reference it's: Terminal 1, 3rd floor, outside Exit 6 OR Terminal 2, 3rd floor, outside Exit 22 approximately...

Amazing service 🥹💕 There was an employee who spoke English, she was assisting us in checking-in and other favours. As I was spending only a night at the hotel for my connecting flight, it was okay to me that we could order food through app (no restaurant or convenient store was needed). In addition, you can always ask the receptionist for help. The room was clean, there was air conditioner and hot water, that seemed to be enough for me)) The hotel also offered free bus service to and from the airport but make sure you confirmed it with them and checked the bus schedule but no need to worry as it was hourly. It was only a 10minute-ride from the airport so you don’t have to waste your time travelling or get up early in the morning for your next flight. We tried to use this for a long layover in Shanghai. Booking online was relatively easy, printed out reservation and took it with us so as to make the language barrier easier. The language barrier was not a problem as the clerk spoke English reasonably well. The problem was they did not have a room for us and refused to give a refund. We were naturally tired and disappointed. We took it up with the credit card company only to be told in the end that we have no proof they didn't have a room for us. ||||While it is on Airport property and you can walk to it entirely inside you do have to pass thru customs. If you bought a Visa you would likely be OK but if you want to stay there under the 24 hour exemption be aware they may not allow you entry to the country. we saw several people denied entry and were told by them that they gave no reason...
