I stayed 3 nights for a work trip. For my purpose, it worked out very well.||The hotel has Fudan University as its target market. On one of those days, the place was packed with young men and women, presumably going for some event at Fudan.||The hotel appears to be part of a Chinese chain or has ambitions to be one. ||There are many good things about it. First, it is modern. Sometimes, perhaps too modern. The electrical outlets in particular are totally with it. There are USB-B and C outlets. No need to lug new plugs.||The toilet has a bidet. (I am now spoiled since I installed one at home.)||There is a facial mask. There are tea and coffee schets.||The beddings were comfortable. The room was clean.||The breakfast is splendid--Eastern and Western. The slight downside is that it is repeated. They could do with a little variation. || The downside: The place appears to have been built by a contractor, as opposed to a designer.||The floor trap in the shower is smack in the middle of the shower stall. That means you standing in the dirtiest water.||The light in the mirror is one bulb overhead. No chain does that. Mirrors must be accompanied with side lights so that when you lean forward, you are not in a shadow.||The biggest gripe--the bathroom has no hooks. So towels and underwear have to be hung on the handlebars. ||Oh and the bathroom door is made of glass. Which means it might not suit sharing of the rooms.||Otherwise, yes, I would...
Read moreWe stayed in this new hotel for one night. The hotel is quite different from conventional hotels, especially the design and layout of the rooms. Our room is very spacious with teak-wood furniture. The bathroom is also spacious equipped with an auto-wash toilet seat. The most unique feature of the room is the presence of a bookshelf and a reading corner. There are 12 Chinese books, some of which are translations of well-known western literature (e.g. The Sun Also Rises, Wuthering Heights, The Diary of Anne Frank), Two facial masks were provided for guests. The restaurant offered a fairly wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. The nearest metro station entrance of Line 10 is just 200...
Read moreThis hotel is located away from the main stream city area but served by Line 10 only 10 minutes away.||There is so much to discover in the surrounding area. The mrt line is linked to so many malls that you can jolly well be lost if not aware of the exit number to get out!!||Only small complaint is I felt itching when sleeping on the bed. Perhaps my skin sensitivity is the issue.||Everyday I will have 2 bowls of local porridge for breakfast and drinking the local juices.|The hotel provides free coffee for resident on the go in the...
