We've had an excellent stay and will definitely be back. It seems this hotel is yet to be discovered by international visitors - other than us, the other guests all seemed to be Chinese. ||||Our room was essentially a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen/dining living area (also includes a washer/dryer machine) and a separate large bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. There are a couple of small couches, one of which worked well as a makeshift bed for our 10 year old (the hotel provided extra bedding on request), which meant we didn't need to pay for an extra rollaway bed. The rooms are clean and in pretty good condition. Most importantly the windows are quadruple glazed - two sets of double glazed windows back to back. Even with construction going on across the park, you could not hear it with the windows closed. Being able to open the windows was also an unexpected bonus.||||Staff are very friendly and capable, accomodating a late check out and helping us out with small requests. A number of them speak decent English (though many do not). The restaurant is nicely-decorated and quite laid back. You feel more like you're in a cafe than a hotel. This makes sense as I understand some of the floors in the complex are apartments with long term residents. The breakfast buffet selection is modest, but very fresh. Breakfast also includes one cooked-to-order dish (eggs/pancakes/waffles). The omelettes in particular are very nice. ||||There is a large heated indoor lap pool next to a nice terrace. There's also a decent gym and a yoga room. The kids club is an unsupervised room with some toys to suit toddlers. No one seems to ever go there, so I used it as a virtual meeting room a few times. ||||The area around the hotel has some nice upmarket cafes with espresso coffee, a cinema, some fast food outlets and a small garden/park area. If you walk 10-15 mins away there's a busy street with lots of stores and restaurants. So if you need to be in this part of Shenzhen, it's an...

The food has always been quality and the venue is lovely too. The overall experience feels more upmarket than your standard brunch place.|||Stay||We stayed in a small apartment-style suite here and it really was comfortable. The bed is big with fluffy pillows and the kitchen well-equiped with all you need to enjoy a stay. It's worth noting that not all rooms have a bathtub. However, our particular room had lots of windows, which meant incredible natural light.|||Staff||From the front desk to the lounge, everyone has always been incredibly friendly and welcoming. Cannot fault them in any way.|||Location||It's a little out of the heart of things but conveniently located by a metro station. You're really not far from Sea World though. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the surrounding area. The location is not noisy when compared with other parts...
Read moreI attended an Easter event at Residence G with my family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed our day out on the terrace. The weather was perfect, food was super tasty and kids loved the playroom. I decided then that this would be the perfect venue to host my husband’s birthday brunch. I was put in contact with Emily who helped me with the planning of the event. Emily was informative, patient and extremely helpful. The event was an absolute success and our guests enjoyed the food, soft play room and swimming pool. We love it so much there that we’re going back for a Mothers Day brunch...
