I really like the upgraded lake view room.I would like to give special recognition to Jasmine and Emma for their outstanding service. Jasmine's professionalism and leadership skills were evident in the exceptional service provided by her team. She was always available to assist me and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant experience. I really like the birthday gift prepared by the team.Emma's warmth and attention to detail were remarkable. She made me feel at home and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options.Her personalized service was truly outstanding. Emma's dedication and efficiency were impressive. She handled all of my requests promptly and with a smile. My flight was very early, and she helped me contact the taxi in advance. Was here for a conference. The hotel is huge and except for the conference spaces, the public spaces seemed deserted. The Octagon buffet was fine with multiple options. Staff were very friendly and helpful to the extent of coming to your room to help out with setting up WiFi (which was somewhat slow). The hotel is right on the lake with a lovely walking/biking path on it - that was beautiful. Nothing else really nearby and nowhere in the hotel to buy a soda or toothpaste or a snack once the restaurants are closed. ||||The rooms were gigantic - the size of NYC apartments. I had a huge living room complete with its own bathroom, a large bedroom with a walk-in closet the size of some motel rooms, and a large bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, not quite sure the black matte finish works. And also not at all sure who came up with the idea of having the bathroom jut into the bedroom and have that part of the bathroom with glass walls! Essentially, if you are lying in bed, you look straight into the bathroom. Very odd and would be difficult if you were sharing the room with anyone except your spouse (or even with your spouse). Bed was very comfortable. ||||One last thing. The hotel provides small plastic bottles of water every day. What an incredible waste. They should install some kind of water filtration system so that guests can use the tap water and reusable bottles. Was a bit horrifying to think of the number of plastic bottles being thrown out every day. Also the cleaners seemed to turn every single light on in the room (and there are a lot) after they clean so that they were just on for hours every day without there being anyone...

Booked 3 rooms for family members visiting China and Suzhou. Whenever someone plan to visit Suzhou, I will recommend this hotel. There were several highlights during their stay. The indoor kids playground and pool are really nice, with the young children happily using the facilities. The adults enjoyed the breakfast, especially the freshly made noodles by the chefs and there's also wide selection of food. The location is very good for relaxing walk amongst peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Finally, the staff are very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this place especially for family...
