Complaints:||1. The bathroom did not have a single hook to hang clothes and towels. The interior designer missed this out.||2. Dialled 3111 and asked for a spoon to make a beverage. They said, "Don't have spoons for rooms". In the end, went down to restaurant on level 4 where the lady cheerfully lent us one.||||Praises:||1. Left a Casio wristwatch on breakfast table in restaurant on level 4. The staff kindly kept it safe and returned it promptly when we returned to the hotel at night. So grateful and relieved. Thank you to the waitress and greeting staff.||2. Hooray hotel was the 1st hotel we stayed at in 3 days that already had the 3rd bed set up in the room when we arrived. Unlike the 1st 2 hotels, Shantou Golden Gulf Jasper hotel and Chaozhou Riverside hotel which did not have 3rd beds in our triple share room, Hooray hotel already had a roll-away bed set up . I stayed here overnight because I had a connecting flight to Vancouver. I was able to stay here free of charge due to my layover. The staff hardly spoke English but they have wifi in the lobby so you could use google translate to communicate. |The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hallways however smelled like smoke because they allow smoking in the rooms. I would request a nonsmoking room if it bothers you. |They provide free breakfast and there are taxis that drive by the hotel often. The ride to the airport was about 10-15 mins depending on traffic. |One of the bell boys spoke a but of English so he was super helpful.
