Hisilk Artwork Center Fliport Coso Hotel — Hotel in Xiamen

Stayed at the Hisilk hotel as a stopover on the way to Hong Kong for our honeymoon. The location was brilliant and close and convenient to the airport. Suite room also had plenty of space and a beautiful bath tub. Food options were nice in the restaurant downstairs and the service staff did everything they could to cater for foreign guests. The noodle bar in the morning breakfast buffet was especially good.The checkin process was rather difficult as the lady we had may have been training or new. The hotel had previously taken an authorization for the stay on my card and asked for a full payment and another authorization upon checkin. Perhaps this was overlooked at the time but I am still waiting for a refund of my authorization amount.I reached out to the hotel as the card I had booked in advance with was going to expire and if they could either refund another card or take another authorization on a different credit card however their response was not helpful.Hopefully the hotel can refund my authorization soon.Points for creativity with the dress set up in the room but unfortunately the authorization issue has...

Everything about my stay at the hotel was great. I had a late arrival, so its proximity to airport was the main reason i choose it. I walked to the hotel +- 500meter and arrived there at midnight. Reception was still available, although they had a selfcheckin service (my backup plan in case my flight got delayed). I got my key within minutes (thank you) and was greeted by a big spacious clean comfortable Mondriaan themed room. Shower was great, bed was super. Although close to airport, not a sound. I had to leave early so i couldb try breakfast. Checkout was done by Carl. Very polite professional young man who not only did the checkout, but also was helpfull in explaining the best way to get to the trainstation. He even arranged a taxi, and stayed with me until it arrived to tell the driver were to bring me. During the few minutes wait i was offered drink (iced tea) and a parting gift (box of almond pastries. My stay was short but very pleasant. This is the best hotel I have stayed in so far in Xiamen. The customer service is five stars. I was really impressed with Shane's service. He provided me with solutions when I asked for help during my check-in process. When I entered my room, I was surprised by the complimentary local fruits they provided to welcome us. The room is clean and nice. It's perfect for family or business trips. The location is close to the airport and some local attractions. The hotel provided us with transportation to the airport, which was easy for us." All the staff there are well trained and friendly, which makes me feel welcomed. During the check-out process, there is a young girl at the reception counter (sorry, I don't know her name).
