We traveled to Yinchuan for a wine tour weekend and stayed here as our base. WOW is the best way to describe the service and overall experience! Thumbs up to the team at this fabulous hotel. ||||The hotel just celebrated their 10th anniversary. We arrived at the front door, the doormen and concierge greeted us and took us to the front desk for a smooth check in. We received 2 Studio Deluxe Rooms which are Jr Suite, the open floor plan is great for work or a leisurely weekend. Small balcony allows you to step outside to see the every changing clouds. Wall to wall of floor ceiling windows make the studio even bigger! Only thing they can improve on is plugs by the bed for charging modern day equipments.||||We had breakfast in Berlin Cafe, although the hotel was super busy for the weekend but the service was very efficient and presentation of the stations are very impressive. One night we had BBQ at their beer garden, the team was very friendly and the cold beer with fresh grill under the clear sky... what's better than that?||||The best experiences was the Executive Club, Joanna (club manager) and Elva are super stars. They made us feel like we are there in a friend's house instead of in a hotel. Edward, who recently moved from Beijing to Yinchuan, connected with us and offered us great city insights! ||||With the new JW Marriott right across from the street, I am sure there are new hotels as other options... But for the warm hospitality and well built hotel... Kempinski Yinchuan is still a...

It's a bit far from the old city center but can be easily reached via taxi or bus. ||Service: everyone there was very warm and welcoming. Gave us a free upgrade to a park view room on an upper floor. The concierge helped us carry our luggage and two giant Ningxia specialty watermelons to our room. Housekeeping offered to help us find a fruit knife to cut the watermelon so we could eat it. ||Rooms: rooms were nice and spacious. The view of the People's Square park was great. The washroom had both a shower and a bathtub. It was everything we would expect from a luxury hotel. ||Food: Our favorite part was the Chinese restaurant on the third floor. The roast chicken was one of the best we ever had. It was fully flavored and baked to just the right amount of crispiness. The waiters were attentive and constantly came to help us refill lemon water. Pricing was reasonable and the overall dining...

When I arrived at the reception for the checkin, Markus, the GM of the hotel, was here and welcomed me in a very warm and friendly manner.
