Long Xin Hotel is a modern 4 star tower hotel in a quiet area of the Chinese neighborhood of Yiling City. Located on the 4th floor, my room was average-sized and contained most of the amenities one would expect to find in a property this category. However, Wi-Fi was missing and replaced by a rather slow Ethernet connection; besides, there was no minibar fridge, which I found rather surprising. The bed was comfortable and the decent-sized bathroom had good water pressure.||||The breakfast buffet was fair with a reasonable choice and good quality produce. I even managed to get a fried egg sunny side up, which came as a pleasant surprise in China. However, tea was not offered and it took me some 10 minutes to get myself understood by the waitresses. Then a RMB 48 (USD 8) bill was brought to my table for the tea, which I of course refused to pay as no one had told me that a cup of tea for breakfast would come as an extra –all the more at such a steep price. The rooms were a great size.The hotel was clean but the desk had a sticky stain, in the shower there was a hair band and a black hair on the round pillow. Other than that, the room was great.On the site it says English spoken at front desk... Not true, i was always put in the too hard basket because they didn't know how to deal.Location was good, Liuxing Street was not far, stores everywhere as well as food.I liked that you could do laundry but there was hardly any detergent and the laundry was dirty.Breakfast was ok, they could do better really.The room stated mountain view...
