Crowne Plaza Zhanjiang — Hotel in Zhanjiang City

Hotel is overall very clean, rooms are of a good size larger than normal and are of a good quality. Bearing in mind that this Hotel is not in Europe or the US. The room value is a 1/3rd of the cost that you would typically pay in other European cities.||||Downside - Gym is one of the worst ever seen. 2 sets of dumbbells neither match. 1 multigym for small people not adults. Its hot and the air con has a musty smell. Good point the treadmills x 4 all work!. Its not a gym more than a tick box.||||Swimming pool outside - not recommended.||||Bar in Hotel reception is basic and poorly stocked to say the least and the floor is old and broken in parts.||||If you want to eat in an evening go elsewhere find the nearest Starbucks and you will find various restaurants less than 10mins in a taxi, local taxi 10rmb each way. Take a direction card from reception. Most taxi drivers don't speak English.||||The whole reception and 5 open ground floors have a musty smell. Lots of Koi Carp within the reception area and a very strange fish restaurant on level 4 possibly add to this.||||Wifi is very limited, but this is not a tourist area so understood.||||Rooms ok everything else is very basic and not aimed at anyone from...

Booked an executive king room with breakfast included. When I checked in learn no executive lounge. Then why is the room titled executive king? Why would one pay more money and not have the benefits of having a lounge? Then later in the evening ordered a Hamburger not chicken or pork burger which it was more like. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from this. Then my fiancée ordered a margarita pizza which looked like a frozen pizza they just heated up and tasted even worse. I tried to call and complain to someone but no one at 5 star Crowne Plaza hotel conveniently speaks English. I would never stay here again Sheraton or Hampton inn would be much better options...

|🛏 【️湛江皇冠假日酒店】||📌 酒店概览 Overview||❶.综合评价：不到一周前（这个月7日），22岁高龄的湛江CP正式撤牌，离开了IHG的怀抱。和老态龙钟的沈阳国际CP、北京王府井艺苑CP的命运一样，这些曾经官方评星的老派年代感五星级酒店最终都是殊途同归，撤牌、换牌甚或转型为写字楼、歇业、停业……铁打的营盘流水的兵，酒店和人是类似的，都是进进出出、走走停停，这很正常；比如我从2006年至今，已经连续19次主持广州车展了，展馆依然熙熙攘攘，只是与会的车迷、领导、模特、礼仪、工作人员早已换了一茬儿又一茬儿，有时候静下来想想，还蛮感慨的；|❷.属地简况：从机场到酒店大约40分钟车程（新吴川机场比旧机场气派多了，出发层平台上簇拥的紫荆花让我想起了老家建水，从首都机场T2坐国航航班可直飞湛江），从湛江西站到酒店大约20分钟车程（从湛江西坐城际高铁到广州南大约三小时）。湛江最南边的徐闻港也是去海南岛度假的另一种途径。||🏨 有关客房 In Room||❶.客房格局：部分客房重新装修过，比如我这次住的1809房间；房间面积大，譬如超出常规面积的盥洗室和衣帽间，挑高特别高，在同类酒店中算是罕见的了。时尚的部分体现在新换的浴缸；中式的部分体现在写字桌、椅子、青花瓷样式的台灯等；网速极慢，电视无国际频道且频道顺序完全乱成一锅粥……优点是水压特别强，无论淋雨花洒/喷头还是洗手池，出水都特别冲、特别足，这一点真的很棒；|❷.欢迎礼物：无欢迎水果。这才撤牌不到一周，一切都已缩水了，任何待遇没有不说，基础的配置也通通削减了，比如客房里不再配备咖啡包、糖包、洗衣袋、纸质手提袋、雨伞、鞋擦、便签纸、圆珠笔、信封、信笺纸、文具等等，凡是你能想到的皇冠假日基本元素，几乎清一色地荡然无存了。||☕️ 餐饮点滴 Dining||❶.美食掠影：早餐在二楼，差到令人瞠目结舌，竟然没有现磨咖啡！只有鲜煮咖啡，我的神啊，简直大开眼界，总之，早餐的质量、数量、综合水准及服务，已经远不如现在某些知名的连锁快捷酒店品牌了，性价比太低了；|❷.城市饕餮：这座城市的白切鸡是最最正宗的，这也是我最的挚爱之一。至于这家酒店，四楼和三楼是海鲜酒楼，很有老广东的粤式风格，有包间也有宴会厅，适合宴请和举办中式婚礼。||🏊 硬件设施 Facilities||❶.酒店环境：整个酒店最大的特色就是山水园林式样的中庭，典型的南派酒店风格，虽然没有珠海华发喜来登的中式中庭那么繁复精致，但该有的都有了：各种中式山水画、假山、怪石、小桥流水、金元宝摆件、锦鲤池等；7楼是国航、南航湛江营业部所在地，这家酒店的位置是极好的；|❷.康乐健身：健身房和泳池全部停用。||🌟 难忘瞬间 the...
