Crowne Plaza Zhongshan — Hotel in Zhongshan

The room size is comfortable and everything need available.|The air condition system need for sure renovation. The air condition cools very good but spent no air at all.|The rooms are wet and the smell is bad.|As we stayed with family of 4 people it was not nice. They offered us to change rooms even moire than one time.|The 8th floor was terrible, the 7th floor was better.||I stayed there for business already several times before.|But in this trips you arrive late and leave after sleeping again. This is something different.||Therefore I recommend for business yes but not as holiday.||The pool and gym is average.||The breakfast was nearly not existing on the first day of our stay. At around 9:15am many things are out (breakfast was until 10:00am). After complain next day it was improved, but 4-star level.||Surrounding Hotel is shopping center where you can go, inside the Hotel is Starbucks.||The restaurant on 5th floor is OK for seafood.||For Business stay I would come back but never for holidays or...

We had an overnight stay at this hotel in June 19.||||Location - Great that there is a shopping center attached to the hotel. There's a 'Haidilao' steamboat outlet in the shopping center and the experience there was great! One of the most entertaining meal we had whilst in China! Back to the hotel...||||Room - Typical china style room. Hard bed. A consolation was the existence of a pillow menu, which certainly made my sleep more pleasant. I didn't get to stay on a high floor, so no view whatsoever to comment on.||||Breakfast - good breakfast and wide selection of food i must say. Both the western and chinese selections were well balanced. And if you're in need for good coffee, head over to Starbucks on level 1!||||Overall, I would say it's a good 4-star hotel...

nice bldg and good pillows but downhill after that.||1. A/C thermostat is "fake." that's what staff told me! room was too warm particularly at night. i had tech guy try to adjust but was told "hotel controls temperature; the thermostat only controls fan." pathetic||||2. staff at front desk speaks very little english||||3. i was on "club" executive floor. posted sign says "6AM to 11PM." more fake news. it actually opens at 9am and still no coffee (and only instant in room) not that it would matter by 9am. good buffet on 2nd floor but not in club as in most hotels.||||4. room is fine with good TV and bed.||||5. location good. next to shopping mall ; starbucks ($4.50 for reg coffee!!)...
