Zhongshan Sunshine Business Hotel — Hotel in Zhongshan

The hotel is located at the western part of Zhongshan, also known as the 'older district'. Location is good as it is near the recreation areas in the west side. This is one of the better hotels, with 4 stars rating (China Standards). The rooms are quite big, well equip and clean. One thing not up to standards is the sound insulation of the walls (which is very common in China as they use partition walls). You can hear people talking next door when it is quiet at night.||||The restaurant on 4th or 5th level serves Chinese food and is quite good. There is a sauna/massage centre in the hotel that is meant for men only, 'female patrons not welcome'. On the first floor, there is a business centre and a ticket booking counter that can help you book for ferry tickets to Hong Kong, airtickets, etc.||||Across the street, the street at right angles on the left is Fu Wah Dao. On Fu Wah Dao, behind the KFC, there are shopping centre, bus service to Hong Kong & Macau and also a row of small food stalls and coffee stands. Cheap local draft beer at RMB12/jug! At the corner of the food stalls, there is an open air cafe that serves German beer (RMB25/litre) that is freshly brewed plus BBQ food with cable LCD TV showing all the Europe and EPL football matches. There are also many foot and body massage on this whole stretch of the road. Prices are reasonable. ||||Another 100m down, there is the building known as the computer centre. Inside, they sell all sorts of computer parts, accessories, and laptops at wholesale prices. If you walk all the way down Fu Wah Dao, you will come to International Hotel. It is a very nice and clean business hotel with walking distance to city center and shops. Rooms are spacious and quiet. The restaurant on 4th floor offers delicious Chinese food. My husband and I were impressed with how clean the hotel is. Staffs are friendly. We feel it is the best value for our money while we were in ZhongShan China. Love it, for sure we will stay...
