Cons of this Airbnb:

•Upon arrival, host César informed us it would be $30 USD extra for the second person, in addition to the $44 I had already paid on Airbnb. I later logged onto the Airbnb website and saw the exact same listing only charged $20 for a second person in the hut. The hosts avoided paying Airbnb fees and Colombian taxes with a hand-to-hand $30 cash transaction, and even so, upcharged us by $10.

•Host César and his wife offered to make us breakfast. We accepted, assuming it was complimentary. The breakfast was tasty. After breakfast, César informed us breakfast was $5 per person ($10 total).

•The Airbnb map location is highly inaccurate, showing the lodging is beside the Capurgana Airport. We spent $20 on TukTuk taxi rides during our one-night stay because the Airbnb is quite remote. The TukTuk even had to drive through a river.

•In the end, the $44 one-night Airbnb stay cost us $104 in total.

Conclusion:

•The Airbnb itself is lovely, but like so many things in life, transparency and honesty are key to building meaningful connections.

Why didn't we fight with César in person? Well, our flight back to the United States had just been cancelled, my iPhone had died from water infiltration on a rainy boat ride, and quite frankly, we were exhausted and focussed on scheduling new flights. Nonetheless, we left César's Airbnb feeling taken...

Es un lugar increíble, de verdad te relajas allí y tienes todo lo necesario , incluso muy buen internet por si tienes que trabajar . Pero para mí lo que más valió la pena fue la hospitalidad de Ángela , desde que llegamos a capurgana nos recibió y nos llevó al Glamping , siempre estuvo pendiente de lo que necesitábamos y fue muy buena anfitriona y nos dio muy buenas ideas para hacer planes en el lugar. mil gracias por esa estadía...

No hablaré de lo espectacular que son los glamping, ni lo cómodo de las habitaciones, ni de los desayunos tan deliciosos que preparan, voy a profundizar en el señor Don Cesar , que persona tan brutal, maneja una energía tan impactante que te transforma de una , mi novia y yo completamente agradecidos , fue una experiencia unica , sé que volveremos a capurgana y sin pensarlo volveremos al mismo...
