Finca Hotel El Trocadero — Hotel in Antioquia

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious. Only small complaint is the bed is super firm. Almost like sleeping on a board with only couple inches of foam. Other than that everything is wonderful. All the workers there are super nice, and the food is actually very good. My favorite part is it’s right on the river, so anytime throughout the day you could just go down and go for a nice swim and hang out. We didn’t stay at the hotel but we parked there to used the parking lot, we also payed to use the facilities and eat lunch at the little restaurant. Overall a very nice spot very close to one of the swimming holes. The hotel grounds are well kept and clean. There was a small staircase that leads down to the river which is a nice place to swim and cool off. The location is just a few kilometers from the town of San Rafael. The only negative thing I could say is about the river which is open to anyone and everyone so you get all types of people...

It was a last minute desicion to stay in San Rafael. We could not have asked for a better place. Edilma, the manager was amazing. Very customer oriented and very honest. She could have charged us a lot considering it was last minute thing, plus there was something going on in town. The food was great, the facilities were nice/clean and by the river, which is on the way to a nice waterfall. Highly recommend, be sure and stop by the town and indulge in the culture.
