Hotel Santa Bárbara Colonial — Hotel in Antioquia

I had a terrible time at this hotel. There were workers who started construction, near the pool, at 7 am. I was trying to have a relaxing time with my friend and we were rudely woken up at 7 am by the sound of an electric saw, just meters away from our hotel room. When we checked into the hotel the receptionist didn't say one word about the 7 am construction near the pool. That was very rude and unprofessional of the receptionist to withhold this information. Furthermore, the workers could have just waited until after breakfast hour to start the electric saws. The decision to start construction at 7 am and to awake the guests was extremely foolish, disrespectful, unprofessional. Also we had problems with our remote control for the air conditioner. Then later we had problems with our remote control for the television. Our room door didn't close properly and also there was no hot water in the shower. Be sure to ask about the construction noise before paying/checking in at this hotel. This hotel pulled a bait and switch on us and our stay was very bad. There was so much noise, in the morning, from the construction near the pool. I only hope that this hotel doesn't treat other guests like this in the future. It’s a very good hotel for spending night. I read some reviews and some it’s not right. Someone said it hasn’t towel but they have something different. Someone said no heather for water but really don’t needed because Santa Fe is a hot weather so the water is warm. Rooms has air conditioner that it works to good. Breakfast is really delicious and enough. I totally recommend and if I come back for sure I’ll come again. What else do you need for a comfortable, quiet, clean, good service, pretty and cheap hotel? La peor estadía que he tenido en mi vida!

Publicidad engañosa/estafa: en Booking te muestran el precio para cuatro personas pero no especifican que es la cantidad minima para la habitacion familiar. Como ibamos tres personas les escribimos por WhatsApp directamente al hotel y nos pidieron hacer el abono del 50% del costo total. Despues les comunicamos que eramos tres personas solamente y nunca respondieron y cuando llegamos al hotel nos cobraron una persona adicional de todas maneras, como si fuesemos cuatro huespedes. Para completar, no recibían pagos ni con tarjetas debito o credito ni con transferencia, SOLO EN EFECTIVO.

Pesimo servicio al cliente: Desde el check-in la actitud de las chicas de la recepción no fue la mejor, atendiendo de mala gana y cero amabilidad, principalmente de la recepcionista Carolina Gutierrez y la otra que estaba antes.

Hotel sobrevalorado: te lo venden como un hotel 5 estrellas pero NO TIENE PARQUEADERO, las habitaciones son bastante basicas, la ventana que da hacia la calle estaba dañada y cualquier persona que supiera podía abrir desde la calle, de hecho el viento en mas de una vez abrió la ventana por sí sola y para completar ni siquiera tiene ducha caliente.

En conclusión, quedamos muy decepcionados, pagamos 55 dolares demas por una persona que nunca existió ni consumió los beneficios (como el desayuno por ejemplo), y NUNCA HUBO NI SIQUIERA UN GESTO de compensación/empatía de parte de la administración del hotel o...
