Hotel Soy Local Guatapé offers an unforgettable experience in a stunning natural setting. The modern design of the facilities blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, creating a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. The food is outstanding, with a diverse menu that combines local and international flavors, making every meal a delight.
The natural environment is one of its greatest highlights, perfect for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility of Guatapé. The well-maintained common areas, with their breathtaking views, invite you to relax and unwind.
However, there are a couple of aspects that could be improved. The lighting at the entrance and parking area is somewhat limited, which can be inconvenient when arriving or leaving at night. Additionally, there was occasional external noise that might disrupt the peace, though it generally quiets down after 11 p.m.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for its design, excellent food, and connection to nature. With a few minor adjustments, it could become an even more exceptional experience. Definitely a place I’d love to...
Read moreLovely hotel with friendly staff especially Tomas, clean and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast , In a beautiful lakeside setting surrounded by nature. The only downside is when you get ignorant selfish guests with no respect for others who have or are about to make a long journey and need to rest making unnecessary loud noise at all hours outside the rooms. This a quiet tranquil location, this type of people with no culture should stay in the village where there is always noise. There is a separate bar area where you would think people who like more noise would go but not everyone has respect for others just themselves. I’ve just changed my rating from 4-5 star as it’s not the fault of the hotel that some ignorant people spoil it for others. The access road is a bit bumpy and the turning is easily missed especially at night so when your navigation says your close go slowly. Google maps sent us up the wrong road so look out for the the hotel sign. Highly...
Read moreThe hostel itself is pretty and nice, on the lake. It located 20 minutes away by car from the city and there's no texi only tok tok. When it's raining the toktok refuses to take you there from the city because its a hard drive without a real road at the end. The hostel restaurant was a disgrace! Doind to wait a lot of time to the food but we order some Mexican soup with chicken that was uneatable, and it came without the chicken, we told the waitress that there's no chicken on the soup and she said it will be put in a second, we didnt eat the soup of course and the chicken was out 20 minutes after they already took the plate of the untouched soup. The cook gave us a small plate with a few pieces of microwave cooked chicken, she just throw it on out table and walked away and we were completely shocked. We had a really bad experiences with the food there so dont bulid on eating there but the hostel itself was...
