MG Hotels & Suites by DOT Urban — Hotel in Antioquia

We had to stay here for a friend's wedding. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, we were just caught off guard when we found out half of our party did not have A/C in their rooms. Apparently half of their rooms and suites don't have A/C. Additionally, when eating at their restaurant, when asking for a menu we were told they didn't have a menu and it was a verbal menu, which was very limited. Additionally, when having their breakfast the dairy products are not kept on ice and when eating your cereal the milk is hot. Our 1 night stay here was a comedy of errors/disaster. The place looks great and has nice bones. However, when we arrived in the evening, there was no restaurant, we were told not to drink the water and there was 1, 4. oz bottle of water we got (the last bottle) and the nearest store is a 10 minute walk away. I took a shower only to have the shower not drain and flood the bathroom and into the room. We were given a room down the hall that had hardly any water pressure, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall and there were scuff marks on the walls. We came here for one and I wished we stayed more. ||||We were picked at the airport by Alejandro with a very warm smile. A fantastic first impression I must say. Then we were met by Filipe on the front desk, who was also equally as nice. Service was great, room was clean with everything you need and more. The breakfast was delivered to our room and it too was very good.||||We ate in the steakhouse last night, it is absolutely fantastic! Our server Giusseppe (I apologize if this is not correct spelling), took great pride in looking after us.
