We recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Hostal Villa Isabel in Aquitania, Boyacá, Colombia, and we are delighted to share our experience. From the moment we arrived, we realized that we had made a wise choice for our accommodation.

Our stay at the hostel was extremely pleasant. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and pleasant. We were impressed by the attention to detail and care that had been put into keeping the place spotless. Every time we returned to the room after a day of exploring the surroundings, we felt comfortable and relaxed.

But what truly made our stay at Hostal Villa Isabel exceptional were the hosts. From the very beginning, Alejandro, Deniss and his team welcomed us with unmatched warmth and hospitality. They were always willing to assist us with anything we needed, providing us with recommendations on places to visit in the area and offering their help at all times.

We want to particularly highlight an act of generosity that we will never forget. During our stay, my wife experienced a health complication that required urgent medical attention. Since our two-year-old daughter couldn't stay alone, I found myself in a difficult situation as I couldn't accompany my wife to the nearest hospital in the early hours of the morning. However, Alejandro, one of the hostel owners, selflessly offered to take my wife to the hospital and waited there for over three and a half hours until she received proper medical care. His kindness and support during that challenging time deeply touched us.

We are sincerely grateful for the exceptional attention and service we received during our stay at Hostal Villa Isabel. We would highly recommend this place to any traveler seeking cozy and hospitable accommodation in Aquitania, Boyacá. Que lugar tan bonito, tan tranquilo! Nos habíamos quedado la noche anterior en otro lugar pésimo y cuando llegamos a Villa Isabel, fue como llegar a un remanso de paz. Cuando visitamos, los dueños no estaban, pero estuvieron muy pendientes vía telefónica y por Whatsapp todo el tiempo; además, la señora que administra el lugar, doña Blanca, es extremadamente amable, cálida y pendiente.

Las vistas del lago son inigualables, justo cruzando la calle y luego del cultivo de cebolla (que de por sí es muy bonito). Los amaneceres son bellísimos 🤩

La casa tiene un comedor y una cocina que se puede usar libremente, tienen aceite, sal y lo básico para cocinar. También hay licuadora, horno microondas, cafetera y agua potable de garrafón ilimitadamente.

Tienen ducha de agua caliente; a veces no calienta del todo, pero eso es algo que no es un tema del alojamiento sino de Tota en general, por la presión.

Excelente lugar para volver! Y la relación calidad -precio es sencillamente...

Sus anfitriones son super hosts. Ubicación en una zona muy tranquila. La atención de doña Denis y don Alejandro son 1A. Se esmeran en que uno se sienta acogido y brindan toda la ayuda posible sobre sitios a visitar, restaurantes y actividades a realizar en la zona. Los desayunos de doña Denis son lo máximo. Hace unas arepas de maíz amarillo con queso que son adictivas; mientras que don Alejandro siempre esta pendiente de los detalles del hotel y de incluir las mejoras pertinentes. En resumen, si buscan un hotel en una ubicación alejada del molesto y excesivo ruido aledaño a Playa Blanca, pero quieren estar a tan solo unos minutos de este atractivo turístico, además quieren pasar noches tranquilas en cómodas habitaciones y despertar con un delicioso desayuno casero, no busquen más, este es el hotel ideal...
