Portoazul Casa de Playa — Hotel in Atlántico

Make sure that you are a good Spanish speaker before staying here. We booked the room online earlier in the day. When we arrived there was no signage outside that we were there. We spent over 30 minutes trying to find the place in the dark and called the bed and breakfast for help. They told us to wait and when we were sitting on the curb very frustrated the owner rode up on the back of a motor bike. She said our names and then brought us inside. She did her best to explain that we did not confirm and she gave our room away. She showed us another available room and we accepted. She told us to sit and she brought in fresh linens.

In the light of the morning, I saw that the bedroom and bathroom had not been cleaned. I even found a whole croissant and a cup just under the bed. I think the owner was frazzled and wanted to make it right and it was an honest mistake that the room wasn't cleaned before it was offered to us. There was no hot water to wash hands or take a shower. Just tepid water.

It has a small kitchen and we were relieved to have a nice place to rest our heads. The small pool was great to sit in and read a book at in the morning.

La experiencia en Portoazul es inigualable, primero que todo la ubicación es absolutamente privilegiada, la playa está muy cerca, cuestión de un par de minutos caminando.

Es un lugar tranquilo y como no queda sobre la vía principal se respira muchísima paz y silencio.

Las instalaciones impecables, la piscina increible, no dan ganas de salir a ninguna parte.

El servicio excelente, muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo y brindar una experiencia memorable a los huespedes, me sentí como en casa, en familia.

El quiosco fue mi oficina por un par de días y fue maravilloso, la conexión a internet perfecta y el sonido de la fuente completaba el ambiente.

Hay una gran variedad de aves que visitan el lugar por sus preciosos jardines, como los anfitriones la describen esta casa es un oasis en puerto Colombia.

It is a nice place to disconnect and relax away from the busy city life. We spent two nights with our family. It has a nice pool-jacuzzi size and everything you need to rest just by walking distance (market, beach, and a private hotel hosting parties almost everynight). We liked the food, and the service. They're so welcoming, that you feel is your own beach house.
