Hotel Plaza Ventura — Hotel in Barranquilla

Stayed here for two nights, chose the hotel due to the good price.|The hotel itself was nice, rooms were good with a t.v and fridge. The first room we had the toilet was broken however they offered for us to change rooms. Billiards and gym available to use. Wifi was a bit hit and miss.|Food shops available nearby as well as an Exito a few minutes walk away. Staff were great and arranged an airport taxi for us on our last day.|Unfortunately the area the hotel was in was quite dodgy, to the point where we felt we couldn't leave.|Overall the hotel was lovely, location...

Don't book here, multiple people had the same scam. They say your reservation got cancelled because of them closing down for a while. If you wanna stay, you can pay double no card accepted. Sadly we had to stay one night, this way we found out that the beds are like concrete, no shower head just water that squirts out of the wall, cleanliness of the communal area and the room was very poor.
