Estadía El Dorado — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

My experience at the hotel, was very good, the staff is very polite and attentive, customer service is a priority in this place. Upon arrival I was received by Jorge, he gave a room which I needed to burn some time until my connection flight took place, for this, the hotel is very convenient, as it is only 7 min away from the airport, so I installed, room was very clean, comfy bed and in general, was very good, but the shine of this place, was the honesty of everyone… I left a significant amount of money in the room, and believe me, anyone would have hesitated and denied they found it upon my call, but not these guys, Jose was the one in the front desk when I called, and he was very honest and polite, he said the money was all there, even offered to make a video call to count it in front of me, and he would only give it to me, in person, which I had to to do the same day, book a flight again and when I returned, they were all so nice and warm, like people who actually know what customer service is all about. So, if you are looking for a place to crash the night until your next flight, do not hesitate to stay here, it’s nice, clean, organized and the stuff is human. Thank you...

My daughter stayed at Estadia El Dorado last week. After two hours of sleeping in her room she discovered a bedbug on the pillow that was full of blood (ostensibly it had bitten her already). She immediately left the room and complained at the lobby. They refunded her money but she still had to throw away her backpack and three pairs of brand new shoes out of fear of bringing the bed bugs back home. The total cost for items lost was close to $300. She also experienced significant physical and emotional distress. The hotel manager completely denied the incident and claimed that there are no bedbugs in the city of Bogota, which is a flat out lie. She even tried to tell me that my daughter probably brought the bedbugs with her, which is impossible because she was staying with me beforehand and I know we didn't have bedbugs. The only good thing was that the man working at the reception desk that night was very kind and tried to help calm her down. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL THERE ARE...
