Positive: the room was clean and comfortable. Some of the staff was friendly (the cleaning lady, the driver, one of the ladies behind the desk). The location was convenient.||Negative:|The lady at the reception who received us was unprofessional and rude. We always give copies of our passports instead of the originals, but she asked for the originals. When I gave them, I asked if she was going to make a copy. She said no but then she was trying to scan them. I told her that that was unsafe as well and asked them back (because of the risk of ID-theft). She did comply but almost rolled her eyes at me! Then, she checked if we really wanted a double bed (like we had booked). We said yes. The bellboy was friendly at first, but he brought us to a room with 2 single beds. My wife and I are married for 2 years, so we obviously want to sleep in one bed. So we went back down to reception again and said that we might have gotten the wrong room by accident. She didn't apologize, but stared at us blankly and then said 'but the price is the same'. I answered that we prefer a double bed and then she gave a different key to the bellboy. Who then wasn't friendly anymore but gave us a weird look and muttered to himself in Spanish 'only one bed?!'. I understand that gay marriage is less wellknown in Colombia, but we've been travelling to more remote areas in the last 2 months and never encountered any problems. I'm not sure if they didn't understand we're together or if they did understand and are homophobic in this hotel. It was a very unpleasent experience for us. Then the next day, when we booked the free shuttle service, they wanted to charge us (while it was during the day when it was supposed to be free). I was quite fed up at that moment so I explained clearly that we booked this hotel because of the location and the shuttle service. In the end the manager agreed not to...
Read moreThere's no AC in your standard 2 bedroom configuration, with only blankets to go around. Good luck. The wifi network needs an overhaul, it's painful. Movies and shows get cut off randomly because my phone is having trouble choosing which of their 3 networks is the best one to connect to. Internet speed is fine but, connecting to them and figuring out which one is the best for your room, is not. Said bedroom configuration comes with a couple of complimentary water bottles and basic higiene supplies like soap bars, towels and shampoo bottles. The shower head was a plain old water jet instead of your normal rainfall shower heads, keep an eye out. Breakfast is on the 7th floor, which you have to get up to using the stairs since the elevator only goes up to the 6th floor. Parking is one the same floor as the lobby, if you're wondering
Please, if you are in need of a stable internet connection through WiFi, this isn't the...
Read moreI won't come back to this place and won't recommend it to anybody. And if you are thinking to stay in here, please don't. |We had to spent a night in Bogota so we choose this hotel coz cheap and sore of close to airport. Room was ok, had hot water. But service and girls at front desk are a disaster. We had to stay at this place as the booking was already made and we wouldn't get money back. But if it was up to me, I will leave this place and go to another hotel. Front desk girls were rude from the very beginning. Gave us wrong information about restaurant, and we were so hungry and didn't eat anything before getting to the hotel. So we went to bed starving. And they just didn't care that info about restaurant were wrong...
