I usually go for the cheap option when staying at hostels so I was hesitant spending more than I usually budget for. However, I was wowed by this place. Really cozy, felt like home (might be a little lonely if you're traveling solo, though). Miguel was welcoming and helpful, giving us ideas and directions for activities. Elsa took us under her wing and showed us all around town, it was like visiting a friend in their hometown even though we had just met. The room with private bathroom (blanca) was spacious, with enough closet space, a comfortable bed & was cleaned every day. Shower was a bit small and not as hot as we’d hoped, but good enough!
