Hotel MS Blue 66 — Hotel in Cali

This was our second stay at this impressive and well-run hotel. The front desk staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. On our second visit, we found more English being spoken, which was hugely helpful to us as novice Spanish-speakers. ||The rooms are squeaky clean, well air-conditioned, beds are super comfortable, shower is awesome. We had a great view of the hills on one side, and the pool area on the other side. ||The pool is divine...super clean at all times, never crowded, towels available, so refreshing, and has a jacuzzi as a bonus. (We're not huge fans of the continuous loop of poolside music, but it's not a deal breaker for us).||The breakfast staff is so sweet and accommodating. The choices are plentiful: fresh fruits, variety of breads, cheeses, meats, hot selections, fresh fruit juices and eggs cooked to order, plenty of coffee, and more! ||On Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday BBQ - poolside.||There are some ongoing construction projects on the hotel site, but nothing that inconvenienced or disturbed us in any way.||The location of the hotel is ideal for walking and exploring a bit. We are cautious, but we have felt safe walking in the area, even at night. Su Papa supermarket is directly across the street. Very convenient. Down a few blocks are some wonderful restaurants including: La Pizarra, La Vaka Loca, El Arepazo de Elsy (amazing arepas!), Kina and Co.(awesome pastries!), and La Fogata Llanera. ||We can highly recommend Hotel MS Blue 66 and we will...

I give this hotel a five because Cali does not have a lot of hotel options near the medical center of la Clínica Del Valle de Lili. I checked all the hotels of the area and I ran out of options. ||I tried the other MS Hotel near la Clinica Del Valle de Lili and I left disappointed with the horrible customer service and the moldy hotel smell in the rooms. I decided to travel more blocks from the clinic looking for a better customer service and this hotel gave me what I was looking for:||The staff was very kind, well trained and compassionate. The rooms were impeccable and the beds were very nice for this hotel price range. If you are looking for function, this is a good hotel. They also have a very beautiful swimming pool that would be good for anyone traveling with children. Not happy. I couldn’t sleep all night because of the noice from the street. The walls are made out not real walls so you can hear everything from other people next to your room. I was finally starting to sleep when I hear a dog barking. They are pet friendly which is a good thing, but if their owners left their dog looked, and he’s barking all morning that’s annoying. If you wake up easy, don’t go here. I liked the pictures on the website, but pay a hotel a little more expensive you will be more rested and it will be totally worth it. What a bad experience.
