POP ART Hotel Tocancipá Centro de Convenciones — Hotel in Cundinamarca

If you are in this area, it’s likely for work but could be for getting out of the city and checking out a couple spots around the area. This hotel is in an industrial part, it’s out there and can take awhile to get to. Check in was relatively efficient, the standard rooms are not big but the beds are comfortable and has enough amenities. No English channels on TV however, slightly disappointing. The hotel has a restaurant of good quality, the staff is friendly and professional. There is a small convenience store nearby, but it lacks most items so a trip to another store or town might be necessary. I ran into the issue of water being unavailable at the hotel for several hours, while they did provide updates when asked, the timeline of when water would be available was not accurate and pushed back every time. I think the staff were doing their best in a tough situation, and while it’s not a desirable situation to have no water for the several hours I was able to make the best of the situation. Overall the Pop Art hotel is probably the best option in Zona Franca/Tocancipa and is good enough to where I’d stay again, despite the issues mentioned. I had a lot of expectation of this hotel since I travel a lot to the area.||It is a modern hotel although it looks in details that has not yet been completed.||The rooms are comfortable although they lack cleanliness, dust is everywhere. They lit up under the beds like a motel and the room lighting is inadequate. The corridors of gray walls are dark.||The service in the restaurant is regular, the costs regarding the food are more expensive considering that the food is not good, unfortunately for dinner everything is far away.||First night of dinner a sadwich with whole chunks of meat and chicken, plus a very badly fried egg, worth $ 23,000.||Second night a portion of pasta in a terrible sauce, $ 20,000 and a terrible juice $ 7,000.||||I hope they will improve by a good hotel in the area.
