san felipe — Hotel in Girón

we decided to treat ourselves to a hotel after staying in hostels all of our trip but this place is worse than any hostel we stayed in. Hotel is in a nice part of town with lots of bars & restaurants around & has a lovely courtyard with tables & chairs But....... No hot water at all in the room & No shower head, just a pipe sticking out of the wall. the bed had a plastic cover on the mattress underneath the sheet so we just sweated all night & woke up wet through. If you want to use the air conditioning its an extra charge. On the hotel booking site we used to  book this hotel it says they have a hot tub which we thought would be a nice treat but the hot tub is only in one of the rooms & not available to other guests. very misleading in the description on the booking site. Definitely would not...

The hotel is located in a darling little town. We had a blast wandering the cobblestone streets and people watching in the town square. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was more than accommodating. Highly recommend this...
