Lombok Hotel & Spa — Hotel in Guaduas

Title say it all, if you're foreigner please be sure that you can speak a bit English. I personally dont speak any, but was here with local friends who could help me when they were at the hotel. But none of the staff I talked with could speak any word of English. It always lower the experience a bit, since communication is a big part of the hotel experience. Anyhow they seemed friendly and tired their best to help and give me correct breakfast. The hotel is clean and cozy, location is great. My only big complaint is that they got cats running around at night in the hotel screaming and yelling all night, which will basically keep most people awake. I do like animals, but for god sake, this is a hotel. Kindly remove them so the guests can get some sleep. One night some of the guests walked around to find the cats 4-5 am in the morning and clapping their flip flops together to get the cats to stop, which causes yet more noise. 3 is all this hotel get from me, could have been 4 with English...

Definitly a nice hotel.||Perfect location: about 100 from Guaduas main square.||Apparently, an old traditional house, very well restored, on the street side, and two buildings have been added on the back, for the rooms. Plus, besides the rooms buildings, a small (but nice) pool. The architect really did a fine job.||The rooms are large and clear. The bed could be better and wider (no king size), but OK. Only real problem in the rooms: no wifi. There is wifi (and it actually works well) on the restaurant side, but nothing in the rooms. Could be improved.||Breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Muchas cosas que decir de este hotel |1. El personal es muy amable, con buena voluntad, pero no hacen más de lo que les toca|2. El hotel es muy lindo, algunos detalles descuidados, se nota que el dueño no está encima de los pequeños detalles|3. De Spa de verdad que no tiene nada, una sala con olor a humedad. La señora que hace el masaje, muy buena,  querida como todos los que trabajan ahí, pero de protocolos, cero, toallas viejas y desilachadas,  aceite barato de almendras. Buena técnica la de la señora y bueno el masaje, pero no es un spa. |4. La piscina del circuito hídrico nunca funcionó y no había nadie que mirara por qué no funcionaba.|5. Estuvimos de sábado a martes y de domingo a martes fue como si la estadía nos la estuvieran regalando. Nos avisaron que no había servicio de restaurante porque no había gente, que??? Y nosotros que somos estamos pagando la tarifa full, que no es nada barata y después de argumentarle eso a la niña de la recepción dice que ok, que va a llamar a la cocinera para que venga.  Si no pueden prestar servicios completos en semana, deberían avisar al hacer la reserva o solo tener abierto al público los fines de semana. |6. La atención en la piscina, cero, nadie viene a preguntar si uno quiere pedir algo de tomar o comer, realmente el servicio al cliente, cero, solo gente amable, pero todo hay que pedirlo. |7. Realmente es que hay que pedir todo, hasta que nos llevaran papel higiénico a la habitación, que pusieran papel higiénico en el baño de la piscina,  etc |9. En un hotel de 500 y pico la noche uno espera que el huésped no tenga que pensar en nada, porque cuando uno lo pensó ellos ya lo habían pensado y lo tenían resuelto. |10.
