We stayed at the hotel with our two kids (5 and 7 y.o.). We booked a 4 person room, but the one they showed us was very small - no space apart from the beds, so we had to pay a bit more to get a bigger one. As the hotel was already relatively expensive, this was an unpleasant surprise.|The room was clean, spacious and had hot water.|The hotel has some common space with sofas and hammocks, which is very nice. It has a good location - a 7 minute walk from San Agustin, by the road to the archeological park. Because of that it is a bit more quiet than in the town and there are still many restaurants around.|One concern we had was with the breakfast, which is served by a restaurant close to the hotel. The first day we got served a very basic one and when we asked for something more they said it was not included. After talking to the hotel the breakfast was better in the following days.|All in all the hotel was okay, but due to some of the problems we had I'm giving it a lower score than it...
Read moreThey forgot about my booking. They did have a single room available, but kept me waiting for an hour while they cleaned the room. According to the description of my booking on Booking.com, they were supposed to provide breakfast for $2, but I was told they do not. And it was unbareably noisy. Most guests seem to stay on the second floor, while mine was on the first. Wifi on the second floor was ok, WiFi on the first floor was not so good, and my room had no connection whatsoever! There were people staying or living on the first floor. There were a shared sink, toilet and shower right next to my room. Those on the first floor seemed to be using them and it created a lot of noise. One day children were running around screaming and a dog was barking right outside my room for quite a while. 2 out of 3 nights people in the house or very close by played music loud almost all night....

Paid 30,000 COP for private room with bathroom (with hot water) for 2 people per night. Not a party hostel but there is an area where you can sit and chat to other guests.||Same guy owns an agency in town so organising horse riding tour was easy, reasonably priced (50.000 COP pp only - no fee for the guy who took us round who - spoke a little English ). It very enjoyable and in the end our tour (for only 4 of ) took from 8.30 till about 2'oclock -we weren't hurried by the guide at all.||Note. The place is located on the road out of town heading towards the national park - I.e. End of calle 5 (not calle 3). Probably around 5 minutes walk out of town. If you walk past pepe pizza (sic?) you are on the right Road. We were offered a taxi from the centre...
