Hostal Principio Tayrona — Hotel in Magdalena

A lovely family-owned hotel with excellent service. It is fairly new so some details still need to be ironed out, but we were received with amazing hospitality. The breakfast was great, the perfect fuel for a day in Tayrona park. The owner of the hotel helped us book mototaxis to the entrance and beyond, which made our trip the park very smooth. The location is perfect if you want to enter the park through the Calabazo entrance, it is a lesser known entrance which also meant we did not have to wait at all to buy our tickets and enter, this took us literally a minute. From the entrance you can reach both Playa Brava as well as Cabo San Juan without so many other tourists on the trail. careful if you use as luggage storage when entering Tayrona, they deceptive with pricing. I was told 20k cop over the phone to keep 2 backpacks for 2 nights and when we arrived to pick them up, the lady told us 40k cop and lied to our face about what she said or didn't say. just be careful and confirm...

Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel, ouvert il y a quelques semaines seulement, pour de très nombreuses raisons : proximité de l'entrée du parc de Tayrona, hyper pratique pour commencer la randonnée dès le lendemain matin par exemple les hébergements sont très propres et confortables les espaces communs sont super chouettes le petit-déjeuner est parfait et copieux Mais surtout : l'accueil de Ana et Alejandro ! Nous avons été accueilli par un thé/café et nous avons ensuite passé de longues heures à discuter de tout et de rien, à partager nos expériences de voyages et à écouter leurs expériences de vie.
