The people who administer the hostel have no idea what they are doing. All they seem to be interested in is personal gain. They have no concept of hospitality and should never be running a hostel to begin with.
For starters, during the mandatory quarentine, I paid 4 times the price of a room (something I found out much later into my stay) with air conditioning and internet included. I had the right to neither! If I wanted a change of bedsheets, my mom had to physically wash them.
What can you expect from people who set up a pizza business and charge COP$10k for a 4-slice pizza but then charge $25k for 8 and $35 for 12. That's only one small example of what opportunism may look like.
One thing I would recommend: definitely visit the animal farm on a day trip but please, do yourself a favor, and stay the hell away from there. There are multiple other places to stay...

Muy mal servicio un viernes 3 de enero dónde se quiere pasar un rato agradable en familia y se encuentra con un pésimo servicio.
