La pepita hostal Minca — Hotel in Magdalena

The hostel is well located, central enough to reach restaurants and transportation within 5 minutes, far enough away to avoid street noise. My bed was comfortable and the private room was spacious enough to let me use it as a workspace when needed. I was also able to use the lovely outdoor facilities for some of my online work.

Jair and Linda were friendly and helpful and I felt welcome and safe during my 4day stay.

I didn't take advantage of the huge kitchen, but I used the handwoven hammocks and especially enjoyed the river and waterfalls at the base of the property. I would highly recommend...

This place was perfect! Close to the center but quiet at night, with just the sound of the river to rock you to sleep. It had a pool and private access to a river. Hammocs, shared kitchen, dorms and privates. Balcony upstairs, large common spaces and it’s always clean. Linda and Jair take great care of this place and are very kind and accommodating. I’ve been in Minca so many times that I can’t even count. I’m always looking for the cheapest option, but sometimes cheapest doesn’t mean less money. After having very regular experiences in the next door Hostal, I finally gave La Pepita a chance and now it’s my favorite place, Jair is very very friendly. Second, the balcony in the room, the chairs, the pool, the CLEAN bed sheets!!! No more bites while trying to sleep!!! The river, the view, etc!! Looking forward for more nights in La Pepita…and yes, it’s very cheap too!

He estado en Minca tantas veces que ni siquiera puedo contar. Siempre estoy buscando la opción más barata, pero a veces lo más barato no significa menos dinero. Después de tener experiencias muy regulares en el Hostal de al lado, finalmente le di una oportunidad a La Pepita y ahora es mi lugar favorito. Lo primero es que Jair es muy, muy amable. En segundo lugar, el balcón de la habitación, las sillas, la piscina, ¡las sábanas LIMPIAS! ¡¡¡No más picaduras mientras intentas dormir!!! ¡¡El río, la vista, etc!!
