A beautiful hotel / eco lodge not far from the entrance to Tayrona National Park and 10 minutes walk to a beautiful beach (not suitable for swimming due to rip tides and undercurrents). The Posada is reached along a cobblestone driveway and then up steep flight of cobbled steps passing numerous fruit trees. Owned and managed by a lovely family, charming rooms with mosquito nets over the beds and views of the jungle garden all around. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is beautifully presented with freshly prepared fruit juices.

We had a lovely stay here! The hosts are very, very kind and made sure to make our stay the best as possible. The rooms are just everything you need and very hygienic. With a wonderful view on the sea. They serve different meals every night, which all tasted very good. The cocktails are also a really good suggestion. It’s close to Tayrona park and you will find playa de los Cocos on just a 5 min walk, on the other side of the road. A very clean beach, with cute restaurants and sunbeds!

No AC in rooms. Pool was very dirty and my friends money was stolen while we were out by the beach. When we talked to the owner she didn’t care at all. We left that day without the money. Also they have a parrot who had his wings clipped - he doesn’t seem to be happy but rather somewhat mental. Very sad to see this kind of animal abuse.

I stayed here for two nights as part of an Intrepid tour of Colombia. I was here with 12 other people and there was 2 other independent couple staying here when we stayed.||||This was my favourite place to stay in all of Colombia, it was heaven. This however is not luxury it is VERY basic with cold showers. But the hammocks were great to laze in and you are literally 5 minutes walk to the beach which is deserted but does have a bar on it...what more would you want.||||The family that own the place serve food up each night again basic but delicious.||||Things to mention however that you may not like so be warned:-||1) There are steep steps to get to the villa. If you are infirm this would be difficult||2) Mosquitoes everywhere as dense foliage. Wear lots of mosy spray and have your yellow fever injections before you go||3) The beach is deserted and the sea was quite rough there so be careful when swimming||4) there are 2 dogs and 3 cats as part of the villa and wonder freely about. They are SUPER friendly and cute but if you hate cats and /or dogs you may not like this.||||Would I go again....yes and for longer||Would I...

4.25 stars||Magical hotel||Our tour rented out the entire hotel. ||You walk 60 steps (thankfully they carry your luggage) up to a gorgeous hotel tucked into the mountains. It overlooks the lush rainforest and you have distant views of the beach/water. Sadly the sunset was on the other side. we loved our stay here. ||Pro:|- they have 2 dogs, 3 cats (1 not so friendly), 2 parrots|- stunning views of the rainforest|- nice pool|- hammocks, chairs everywhere|- staff was friendly and they had alcohol, snacks on premise. the food for lunch, dinner consisted of pasta, pizza and stir fry.|- laundry was cheap with a quick turnaround|-It’s a quick 5 minute walk to the main street and 10 minute walk to the beach.||Cons:|- little to no hot water|- rooms were basic with no amenities. there were 2 fans (no AC) and while they did offer mosquito nets they had giant gaps where it was...
