Lucy and her family are incredible. Spent the night here with my mom so we could get an early start hiking in parque tayrona the next day. We stayed in a bungalow and left the doors open the entire night for ventilation. Neither me nor my mom saw a single mosquito. This place is less of a hotel and more of a compound. There are bungalows and cabins of varying sizes and styles. Lucy’s brother and daughter were also helpful and happened to be staying on the property at the same time. There’s also a friendly guy who helps manage some of the spaces named Ramon, who helped me and my mom stash our suitcases while we hiked, and then carried them down to the taxi when it was time to go. Lucy was also super helpful in organizing a driver to the Santa Marta airport (who was much more affordable than the drivers we had asked previously) and was patient with all of our random requests. If you want to stay within walking distance to the park, but not IN the park, this is a great spot. Gracias Lucy y su familia por todo!

Best highlight of my Latin America adventure. The property has 3 traditional Colombian homes. Each is uniquely structured at different levels on a slope. It is private, quiet, minimalist. I spent a lot of time thinking about privilege and contemplated life in the structure I stayed in. It wa wonderful. You are amongst the neighborhood. You heard the laughter, a dark, Lola the rescue parrot, a baby. Life is good. My space had a queen bed and a bunked. Mosquito net, 2 fans, two very comfortable chairs, balcony. The main level has the bathroom, table and 4 chairs, mini fridge. The fauna is beautiful. It is definitely a place I will never forget and definitely is on my list of places that I will never forget and also a place Inwiuld recommend and return to. Thanks Ramon!

We stayed here before/after our trip into Tayrona NP, and it was excellent! The host is amazing, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of--we were able to leave our bags behind while we went into the park, we got our laundry washed, and the host even found a stream so that we could watch the soccer game with some cold beers after a long day! The pets on campus are an added bonus--rabbits, parrots, a cat, and a tortoise--all of which are friendly! The location is great, and has access to stores, restaurants, the river, and El Zaino entrance. Highly recommend!!

Hostess - wonderful helpful and very nice and kind. She took me to a nearby store to recharge my phone.( I don’t speak any Spanish). She told me the most economical way to get to the airport.( bus to Santa Marta then a taxi )||||Room: good with mosquito net( it has one tiny hole so it should be mended)||||Breakfast: good ||||WiFi : no Wi-Fi I have to use my cell phone Data which was fine. I think having WiFi is a must but some prefer to be off the Internet.||||I like to play with the parakeets and watch the parrots. Lucy let them sit on the trees. They were not caged up all day. ||||The parrots can talk. They were well trained||||I love the hammock also.||||I think electric insect repellant would be nice in the room.||||It had a great time there. Tayrona National Park was closed. I wished the owner had told me or the booking web site ( hotel.com) had a warning or advisory before I book. Nevertheless I had a good time and visited the beaches 30 minutes away. I will go back to this Posada to visit Lucy and her pets. I love them all. Next time I will wear long pajamas , put mosquito repellent while I was there. I read about the mosquito problem which was expected as this is a tropical, wet humid area but don’t let it deter you from staying there nor visit Tayrona...

|Opeens horen we luid gezang!
