This is the place to go if you're birding in Mitu. Monica (the manager) takes great care of her customers, organizing early breaksfasts and taking lunches to wherever you're in the field. I was really surprised and grateful to get my breaksfasts at 4 am (to go) and having my lunch personally delivered by Monica in the middle of the jungle, 40min-1hr away from Mitu. Read moreIf you are a birder, this is the hotel you should stay in Mitu. The family who owns the hotel is amazing. I stayed there for 7 nights and ate breakfast/lunch/dinner there most of the time. The room was more than sufficient. Everything was clean, we enjoyed the fan and AC at night, and the cold showers were good enough to wash off the hot day before bedtime. We look forward to staying here...
