I traveled with my Mom to Monteria in Nov 2010, and the hotel is great. the rooms need improvement, such as more space in the bathroom, an extra trash can, more towels, but the hotel staff is there to give you what you need. The prices per night run from $65USD to about $100+ USD for a suite. For a five day stayed, I paid, about $450USD including dry cleaning and laundry. It is centrally located, you get breakfast until 9:30am or later and the food is delicious. If you need a cab, the hotel staff will get it for you, even if you are at the airport, they'll send one for you and this is the safest way, if you need a cell phone, or charge it for more time, they'll tell you where to go. Read moremy third time here, since 2012. Monteria has more hotels since I last visit, but Costa Bonita just seems very warm and cozy. The staff , friendly and helpful and they still remember me. I requested the suite, just for more comfort, but the bathrooms still need improvement, too small and no place to put your personal items. The rates are higher now as expected, about $117 per night, but I didn't see major improvements to the rooms, the restaurant or the outside.
