Hostal La Mariápolis — Hotel in Necoclí

Very chill little hostel with a funky arty feel. The owner Angela speaks English and is really wonderful. She knows a lot about the area and made us feel welcome right away. Her family runs a vegetarian restaurant next door which unfortunately was closed when we were there but she gave us good tips for where to find vegetarian food in town.

The location is also great, with a access to the water right off the front of the hostel so you can swim easily and there is a nice balcony overlooking the sea. There are also lots of friendly dogs hanging...

It’s simply amazing; the location, the setting of the hostal, the beach right there, the welcoming. We have got a room facing the street I find a bit noisy but in general it’s awesome. We could have paid breakfast but instead we decided to go and have breakfast in town. We could use the kitchen to prepare our own food if we wish at no extra cost. The owner was very nice letting us check in early enough and I took the chance to jump into the ocean ! The water was warm and refreshing and, again, the hostal it’s just a diamond...

What a beautiful artsy place! This is definitely a great place to stay when in Necocli. Angela is a very welcoming host and the place feels so homey. We had a private room with the ocean literally right out our door. It was great to swim and hang out enjoying a maracuya juice from their bar. Sunsets...
