Hotel Ursua — Hotel in Pamplona

Hotel Ursua is located directly on the main square. It is a large two storey colonial house. Pamplona was my last stop in Colombia before entering Venezuela. It was also the last relatively large and nice city I could reach at decent hour after traveling far from the interior. The city and the hotel turned out to be a good choice. It was a good place to get some rest and prepare for Venezuela. Pamplona is located at higher elevation and has refreshing cool climate.||The hotel is an older but well kept building. It has large, bright, central courtyard that is covered with translucent roofing. It has seating and restaurant with good and inexpensive food. The rooms are simple but clean and very good value. The two rooms I saw were in the front and on the second floor of the building. My room was large with window and little balcony opening directly onto the main plaza. It had four single beds, one queen size bed and large bathroom. Bathrooms had new light tiles and electric hot water heaters. My room and the hotel were clean. There was good Wi-Fi in the courtyard. The staff and the owners were very pleasant and helpful. I can recommend Hotel Ursua and Pamplona as a place to stop before crossing the border to Venezuela.||In the town there were few places that sold Bolivars...

Saludos,|Si bien el hotel está muy bien ubicado (parque principal de la ciudad Pamplona) y sus precios (30.000/noche) son cómodos, el hotel a primera vista de su interior llama la atención, pero en las habitaciones se siente humedad, los baños huelen a humedad, el servicio es un total desastre; llevo tres días pidiendo que por favor pongan el jabón de baño, ayer por fin me dieron jabón pero al terminar de bañarme me doy cuenta que no hay toalla, salgo emparamado hasta la recepción por una toalla, y toca esperar que la persona que atiende se decida a bajar y hacer su trabajo, al abrir la toalla para si uso, tiene una asquerosa y gigante mancha café la toalla.... Que más puedo decir, y eso que antes de todos estos desmanes han venido varias comisiones de mi empresa por lo tanto somos clientes a quienes atender muy bien pero no les importa, no se esmeran por brindar un buen servicio, es colo una...

El hospedaje cuesta $80.000 por noche para dos personas. La reserva se puede hacer por WhatsApp, pero la atención por ese medio es bastante lenta: tardan varias horas en responder, lo que puede ser frustrante.

Al llegar, el área del restaurante es muy bonita y acogedora. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero cómodas, con baño privado, agua caliente, toallas y televisión. Ideal para descansar.

Algo importante: me informaron por WhatsApp que el parqueadero tenía un costo de $5.000, pero no es cierto. El hotel no cuenta con parqueadero propio; te envían a uno que queda a una cuadra y el valor es diferente.

A pesar de ese detalle, el lugar es muy tranquilo y silencioso para descansar, y está en una ubicación excelente, justo frente al parque principal. Ideal si buscas algo céntrico y sin...
