Posada McBean — Hotel in Providence Island

Firstly, Mr Taylor is a lovely man who will do everything he can to make you feel welcome and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He is always happy to answer any questions you might have or help with making arrangements for tours or activities (and nice just to chat to aswell, although you can always have your privacy if you want it). ||Secondly, the property and your room and bathroom are kept absolutely spotless - thoroughly cleaned every day, fresh sheets on the bed and clean towels provided every 2-3 days. I also appreciated the choice of airconditionining or fan in my room, and the fridge... and Mr Taylor very sweetly doing some of my washing for me just out the goodness of his heart!||Thirdly, a good breakfast is available if you want it for a very reasonable cost: scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions (or maybe fish balls if you ask!), fresh bread with butter/jam, coffee... and best of all various delicious fruit juices freshly made from the fruit in the garden! ||I was very comfortable and very happy staying here (and found it easy enough to get around the island to explore/visit beaches via mototaxis plus shops/ATM are only about 20 mins walk). 100%...

Posada Mc Bean is my second home when I go to Old Providence.||I frequently go to Providence because of my job and always stay there, it's placed on a quiet site near the airport and downtown, perfect for resting, relaxing and having a truly native experience with Mr Alonso Taylor, who does his best to make you feel at home.||It's worth to mention it's the cleanest place in the island, rooms are perfectly tidy and get cleaned and organised every day as well as towels and bathrooms. We loved our recent stay with Alonso is his charming, Caribbean home with views of McBean Lagoon. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Alonso tidied up the room every day when we were out, which wasn’t expected and very kind. Breakfast is simple but filling. Alonso was helpful in arranging moto rental/drop off and snorkeling trips.
