This place is a little piece of heaven.. Right upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a big smile by the super lovely owners (Selina and Jaime) and they will do everything they can to make you feel as if part of their own family!||My room was very clean, comfortable and with private bathroom. If not too busy with other guests, the owners will happily let you use their own kitchen. The garden was my favorite place to relax, amongst lush tropical plants and with cute little animals. The wifi connection works perfectly. The Posada is a bit outside of San Agustin village (10 min walk on a fast pace) but its location is perfect for walking, horse-riding or jeep tours (some of the best sightseeing spots are at walking distance). Finally, it is the best value for money you will find (I paid only COP 20'000 for my private room)!||The ONLY inconvenient (not for me, though..) is that the owners and guides do not speak English.||Thanks a million to Selina, Jaime, Claudia and David for having made my stay so perfect. I had only booked for 1 night and I ended up staying 1 week, didn't want to...
Read moreWe had the best time at La Posada Campesina! The owners and their friend Claudia have been one of the nicest persons we met in whole Colombia. They take care of you like if you were family and do everything to make you feel comfortable. The house and the garden is just beautiful. There are all kind of exotic flowers and fruits and you can pick and eat some any time you want. They put a lot of effort in every detail. The price is more than fair, the breakfast is just amazing and they help you a lot with organizing your trips around San Agustin. They know a lot of people around who can show you all of the beatiful things around San Agustin and who dont´t offer the "typical tourist program". It was seriously the best place to stay in whole Colombia. We´d love...
Read moreThis place was great! Right off the main road leading up to el Parque Arqueologico San Agustine (literally a block), it was a great location. I paid less than listed here as I arrived without a reservation and negotiated the price when I got there. I arrived and rang the doorbell and was greeted by Madam Mercy. The exterior of the hotel looks like most of the pueblo, but the interior of the hotel is very nice. Mercy was very welcoming and showed me the rooms available. There are individual rooms for a romantic getaway and larger room with 3 beds available for groups. Breakfast was included and was prepared for me before heading out on my Isnos tour, which she called to have arranged for me to be picked up from the hotel (50 mil pesos). There's a fair amount of competition in that area for hotels, but I choose La Casona because of its ambiance and Madam Mercy's welcoming personality. It was a great choice!||||¡Este lugar fue súper!
