Hotel & Resort Villa del Sol — Hotel in Tumaco

I went here with my family with the all-inclusive plan. Out of the 4 nights, 2 were pleasant. The other 2 had parties & loud music in front of the rooms until 3am. 2 nights in a row my family nor I could sleep. We called and they didn’t care the only response was “the music is not that close to your rooms” well... 10m far away is not that far when the balcony doors don’t shut completely and there is no soundproofing.

Staff was friendly; however, at the restaurant there was one girl who was extremely rude. She shouldn’t be working there.

The all-inclusive plan (only includes 3 meals) those meals were terrible. Breakfast was so tiny with almost no selections whatsoever so we had the same breakfast during 5 days. Lunch and dinner is the same (you can choose beef, pork, chicken, 2 kinds of fish and shrimps) the best choice was the chicken as the fish had no meat and it was basically deep fried skin. We ended up having lunch at a restaurant near the beach.

Our rooms were in front of the pool... where the music speaker is, also it was supposed to have beach view but as you can see from the pictures you can barely...

El único medio de comunicación es por WhatsApp, responden cada 3 horas. No dan información clara, llamé me respondieron al afán, casi ni me dejaron hablar y me colgaron. Pésima e ineficiente atención. De todas formas reservamos!

Al llegar no era claro donde quedaba recepción, cuando la encontramos estaban 3 personas del hotel, y no había nadie más, el personal casi ni nos atiende, tuve que preguntar q hago para hacer el check in, y me dijeron: tome asiento ya la llaman. Solo me preguntaron los datos y así inició el proceso. Faltó cortesía e información ya que no nos dijeron a q hora hacer el check out del día de salida, no nos informaron de los servicios del hotel como el kiosco de frente a la salida y el spa.

La comida no está mal, aunque muy grasosa. Hay varias opciones de comida pero se van acabando, y aunque el desayuno es hasta las 10, a las 9:50 ya tienen guardado todo y te dan de lo que quede. Las sopas eran muy grasosas, podías ver una capa gruesa de aceite. Los secos o bandejas, muy ricos. El arroz con pollo y arroz con camarón estuvieron deliciosos, el pescado al ajillo igual. El jugo está disponible durante cada comida, puedes tomar varias veces. El personal no es tan atento, parece que es propio de su cultura.

La piscina estaba muy sucia aunque la limpiaron el último día de nuestro hospedaje.

Hubo un evento en el hotel y no se pudo hacer uso de las áreas de comedor, sino que sirven la comida en el kiosko de frente que es muy pequeño para la cantidad de huéspedes.

Es un lugar lindo visualmente, tiene zonas verdes y puedes salir a recorrerlo con tranquilidad, y queda alejado del bullicio del pueblo.

La playa queda pasando la calle.

Las habitaciones son cómodas, tienen algunos signos de deterioro pero en general estuvieron bien. Hay muchos zancudos, es mejor tener mucho repelente.

El aire acondicionado funcionó bien, el ventilador de techo igual.

Le doy 4 estrellas porque en general y pese a los detalles de atención al cliente, estuvo...

The experience was awful !!! 😣 They took us to our room, and it was not what we were expecting (smelled really bad) then I opened the refrigerator, I found a box of Rotten chicken, we complained about it and they did fix it but that’s not aceptable. During breakfast , there was this Beautiful black cat 🐈‍⬛ that I was feeding and the person that was in charge decided to spray water on him, which really upset me!!
