Highly recommend! |The Apartment:|Looks Exactly like the website photos (I was pleasantly surprised) |Each Villa is sound proof so you feel like you’re all alone in this resort when it suits you. |All the amenities you can ask for. Fully equipped kitchen (no oven but no issue at all- there’s a bbq in the pool area if you really need it) |Ceiling Fans are a god send - both in the living room and bedroom. |The night light stairs are very thoughtful for the midnight bio calling. Haha! |The shower is very good! Great pressure and very spacious with a handy sitting / shaving step. |The little nook / balcony is private enough, but open enough to greet other resort residents. |Laundry facilities will have your clothes clean in 15 minutes, ready for you to peg on your own private clothesline attached to your apartment. (Love this thoughtful touch) |The breakfast hamper is perfect and if you need anything extra the convenience store across the road has it (plus beers/ wine) |The Pool: |One word…Wow! My husband surprised me with a getaway to a warm and beautiful destination, far from our home in North Dakota. After four flights and two days of traveling, we finally arrived in Rarotonga. We rented a car and drove to our hotel, and upon arrival, we were absolutely amazed by the location.

From the road, Ocean Escape Resort looks like just another place, but once you step inside, you enter paradise. The accommodations are designed as private, two-level units, offering both comfort and seclusion. Each unit is fully equipped with everything you need—except for a washing machine, but don't worry! Complimentary laundry service is available on-site.

The hotel sits right on the oceanfront, providing stunning beach access. One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which is filled with filtered ocean water, adding an extra level of relaxation and joy. There is also an on-site restaurant with breathtaking ocean views, offering a true culinary experience.

For those looking for extra pampering, the spa facilities provide a range of treatments in beautifully designed rooms. Conveniently, there is a grocery store, bus stop, and gas station right across the street. But the real hidden gem? The homemade bakery next door, serving the best bread and pastries on the island!

The owners are incredibly welcoming, maintaining the resort at high standards, and the staff is exceptionally well-trained, providing service that exceeds expectations.

I had a fantastic time at Ocean Escape Resort & Spa in the Cook Islands. Owners Jade and Barry have created an amazing boutique resort with exceptional attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-stocked fridge, mezzanine bedroom, huge shower, utilities, small dishwasher, mood lighting and the beautiful pool.

One of the standout features is BJ's bar, built smartly on stilts so as not to obstruct the stunning beach views from the poolside comforts. This place is a real secret treat, with amazing food and cocktails and lovely friendly staff.

As a solo traveler, I felt very much looked out for, thanks to the excellent communication before and during my stay. Manager Elaine seamlessly set me up on activities and adventures all week, ensuring I had a memorable experience.

Above all, it was the kind-hearted people involved who obviously love what they do that made my stay exceptional and comfortable. The eco-friendly design of the resort is impressive, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing all modern comforts. The villas are spacious, beautifully decorated with a fresh coastal feel, and equipped with luxurious amenities.

The staff, led by Elaine, Jade & Barry went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail and personalized service made me feel I really was getting the most out of my holiday time long before I even arrived.
