Blue Jungle Lodge — Hotel in Arenal

What a beautiful house, super well decorated and spacious. The room was nice and big, as well as the bathroom and shower stall. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of (good) towels. There was a small kitchen in the room, with a nice amount of equipment and tea and coffee. Alexis was very friendly and gave plenty of great recommendations. Both the bathroom window and balcony door had mosquito protection and there was a ceiling fan. There is no aircon but we didn't have any need for it. The only downsides were: you cannot sleep with the balcony open due to noise from the nearby street and the neighbor dogs and cocks. Excellent beautiful family hotel, conveniently located close to Arenal lake and attractons, but in a quiet pastoral location on a hill.Rooms are large, fully equiped with stylish furniture and kitchen, we also got a terrace. The owner Alex, is a truly extraordinary person, speaking several languages and extremely welcoming and friendly- he even assisted us with laundry on site for free - a big bonus on a long nature trip. Nice house - has parking a pool table and some games. Our room was extremely nice with a great kitchen and balcony. Impeccably furnished. Super good nature views (we heard monkeys during the night and saw a bunch of birds)

Close to things in Nuevo Arenal but if you are planning to do stuff close to La Fortuna days in a row this is very far away.

Host was nice but desorganized (wasn’t there to meet us and cleaning lady didn’t have a clue, we were there when other guests arrived - same situation, forgot to collect payment so I had to PayPal after the stay and...
