Don't drive by this charming restaurant with an adjacent local artisan gallery (Lucky Bug Gallery) and B&B (Lucky Bug B&B) tucked in the back. If you do you will have missed an amazing meal in an amazing setting, complete with Hummingbirds, beautiful gardens and a spectacular view from the dining area. Monika is a wonderful chef who mixes local ingredients into some of her German favorites. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting - what more could you ask for? Perfect for spotting some wildlife in the backyard, we saw some interesting looking ducks and an iguana as we ate breakfast, and lots of hummingbirds came by the feeders. Food is of a more western style, standard fare like eggs and potatoes seasoned with a very tasty curry, which I think we had started to crave after lots of beans and rice. Amazing food in paradise We ate here many times during our 3 week stay in Costa Rica. The breakfasts were outstanding and great value. The view over the lagoon, watching the exotic birds almost at our fingertips, was the highlight of our days. Great lunches and dinners as well - but make a reservation for dinner.
