Hotel D’ Angelo — Hotel in Cahuita

Angelo and his wife are highly professional at hospitality, operation and organization. The hotel is the equivalent of a Marriott Courtyard, seriously (I’ve been a Marriott Rewards member for over 40 years). The room is clean, modern, and well equipped (shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, cleaning supplies, Tp, etc.) including great air conditioning and FAST Wi-FI too! Angelo and his beautiful wife Ashley pay attention to smart details. They’re always close by, and will show you around. Also, don’t miss going to the town of Manzanillo, 2km away. Its a cute town at the entrance of an easy walking National Park, and if you do, Angelo made a great recommendation for a restaurant called “Colores” and it was fantastic food. I had a pasta with mushrooms and chicken (pollo) with a sauce as good as any I’ve had in 5 Star restaurants. Also, the bed, pillows and linens were super clean & comfortable. They give you plenty of towels, dishes, even some local coffee to start your first day with. Hotel D’Angelo is an excellent value, a local hotel situated literally in the jungle. I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel D’Angelo in Manzanillo, Caribe Costa Rica, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of lush tropical nature, the hotel offers a serene and peaceful escape from everyday life. The sound of the vibrant wildlife surrounding the property created a tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation.

The hospitality was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were always friendly, accommodating, and eager to offer tips about the local area and activities. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about the comfort and experience of their guests.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated with natural materials, complementing the surrounding environment. I loved how everything seemed to blend seamlessly with nature—whether it was the views of the jungle or the outdoor seating areas to enjoy the fresh air.
