Hotel Pez Gallo — Hotel in Golfito

This place is super clean, clean pools, nice clean patio. Fenced in security. Small restaurant on site. Rooms were very affordable. All employees were extremely helpful and nice. Small nice view of Golfito shore. Located a bit outer part of Golfito but to me that’s good . 5 min taxi ride out of central town. Taxis everywhere. One pointer is make sure you have your luggage sealed after taking what needed out. You will have small ants inside hanging out in your clothes. I prefer room away from the pool it seems to have less ants. I was told the restaurant is not open in the winter time period. Only for breakfast. In the summer time they said it’s open for dinner . I had help from an employee that ordered me pizza from town. I’m telling you that cheese pizza was absolutely delicious. I will be back and I will be staying here again. The ladies in the restaurant and cleaning are so nice. Ground keepers on site daily cleaning and they are so friendly. I just thought for bang for your buck this place was absolutely great. If you stay multiple days you have to go to the reception desk and get your ticket for breakfast every morning. It is open from 6-9 am i believe was the time....

Este hotel esta a la entrada del pueblo de Golfito, nos alojamos una noche en este hotel y no volvería ni lo recomiendo, las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, tienen baño privado, A/C, TV, la habitación se veía limpia pero habían muchos cabellos en las sabanas lo cual parecía que no las habian cambiado de los huéspedes anteriores, el lavatorio también tenía muchos cabellos, pero lo peor de todo fue el ruido en las habitaciones, estaba muy cansada despues de manejar 6 horas y no pude dormir porque se escuchaban los ronquidos de las personas de la habitacion de al lado, el ruido se paso mucho de una habitacion a otra, todo pero todo se escucha. Por estar como a 10 minutos del centro en carro no hay muchos lugares cerca donde comer. Tiene una pequeña piscina y una mini soda para los desayunos pero eso día no abrio. Tengo buenas y malas observaciones que decir: Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y viejas, bueno por lo menos la que me reservaron a mi, lo bueno es que es un lugar muy limpio y ordenado, el parqueo es muy estrecho y desordenado, la gente no estaciona bien y lo hace más complicado, La chica de recepción un 10/10 es muy amable, atenta y servicial, pero NO me gustó para nada ver a la dueña gritándole a los empleados en el area del restaurante, eso me hizo sentir muy incómodo, definitivamente es poco profesional hacerlo frente a los clientes además de que a un empleado de todas maneras no se le debe tratar mal por ninguna razón…Por todo lo demás esta bien… 3/5 de estrellas es...
