Read moreFirst of all I would like to thank Kathy & Bernie for being such amazing host, super helpful, friendly with a lot of tips to make our 3 night stay AMAZING. You’ve left an impression on our hearts that make us want to comeback to CR. We Loved the Tree house how it was nestled back into the rainforest, waking up to the sound of nature, surrounded by water so soothing .. The grounds were spotless and it was way more than imagined PLUS the BONUS was my 12 y/o daughter LOVED it. The Hot & Cold springs were just what the Dr. ordered after a long day of excursions, the gates were closed in the evening so you can have the entire grounds/springs to yourself. We ordered Dinner a couple nights that was delivered to the tree house and was very pleased with cost, presentation and taste. Frank our knowledgeable Tour/Driver was recommended by Kathy – and I can’t stop raving about him, I don’t think our trip would have been as amazing if we didn’t have him as our CR guide. We didn’t have to drive anywhere. He picked us up from the airport, made so many stops to show us waterfalls and views along the wayside, gave us tips, and drove us to and from our excursions, also made sure we stopped to eat, took us to the market for groceries and even took us through the rainforest on the grounds. Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts, can’t wait...
Read moreWow! We were blown away with how beautiful this location is! So the story is that these hot springs from from the heat deep within the tectonic plates, and the water here is estimated 10,000 years old! We are swimming in old history. The owners of this place started it 14 years ago when it was all cow pastures with springs here and there. They built it over the years to what it is now and what an amazing job they did! We stayed in a house on the ground as well as the treehouse! The kitchens were enough to cook food, store food a d feel lived in! We even bbq’ed outside :) The springs were amazing and varied from different heats, depending on what you enjoy. Clean, well maintained and nature and animals everywhere! We even saw monkeys eating mangos in the trees above us while enjoying the springs! If you want a relaxing authentic Costa Rican experience, this is the place to go, worth every penny :) Come stay, relax and enjoy yourself, the town of Cooper even has some cute restaurants and shops to peruse through! A must see and must come stay! You won’t regret it! Thanks for all the kindness and hospitality, the next time we come back, we will definitely be back! Thanks...
