Our First day, first time in Costa Rica, and what a welcome. The sweetest people we ever met.Apart from the awesome hospitality, the place is located at a very easy to find and convenient location.Very well kept,Neat and clean.Rooms are very basic, but the people are so nice, grocery store next door.we got everything we needed. They let us use their kitchen amd made good breakfast.Gave guidance and helped us out with any questions...I had too many.Always smiling people.wonderful would be too shy of our experience there. They had a family party and they invited us too.It was so sweet.About the rooms...Its very basic but clean.bathroom only has one small soap and 1 pouch shampoo. But I am sure you would get more ,we did not ask.No closets or hooks.(I guess having hooks in rooms is not a tradition in Costa,we did not have them anywhere we stayed.)1 small fridge,a desk, chair and a night stand and portable drawers, and ofcourse a bed.||Once again.Best place to start your journey if flying into Liberia.||Uber gets you there from the...

Hotel Villa Hermosa is an absolute gem that truly stands out for its charm and exceptional customer service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that made us feel right at home. It’s evident that this is a family-run business, as the personal touches and genuine care they provide are unmatched.

We had a large family group, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure every single person felt comfortable and attended to. Nothing was too much trouble, and their willingness to adapt to our needs was remarkable. Whether it was arranging seating, catering to dietary preferences, or just ensuring everything ran smoothly, their attention to detail and hospitality left us incredibly impressed.

The atmosphere is inviting and full of character, with a charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. It’s clear that this place is run with love and passion, and it shows in every aspect—from the delightful people to the...

We stayed at the hotel for three nights to start out Costa Rica vacation. Hotel was easy to find and very welcoming. The owners and staff were very friendly and always greeted us with smiles. The rooms themselves were simple, clean, the bathroom/shower was clean. Each room had a nice area outside to sit and relax. Breakfasts were very tasty, and we had an evening meal there first night, the second night the owners arranged some takeout for us since we had had a long day and didn't want to go out for supper. The hotel is located outside of town, we had hoped to be able to walk into town, but were recommended against it after dark for personal safety. Not a big issue for us for the short stay we were there for. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the welcome...

Bicycle tourist here. This is THE hotel to visit when flying into Costa Rica. You can get picked up at the airport with a private van if your bike is still in the box, and your bike can go in the room. You are outside of the very busy Liberia city center, which is very nice and more quiet. There are stores and a few fast food places right outside the hotel gate. Also as you walk out the gate, to your left 2 minute walk is a place to get a SIM card (look for a small red circle sign that says “Claro”) The family is very kind and it’s a lot like being at a home stay. I really appreciate all they do and I highly recommend.

Super quaint for a villa, hostel. Very ethnic and the owner was so very helpful. She assisted us with ordering take out from a local restaurant that delivered to us, as their restaurant was closed when we got there. The breakfast provided the next morning was amazing, with the tortillas being homemade. There was a small grocery store with in walking distance, so we were able to buy whatever we needed, like you would at home. It was a nice experience before heading to the resort we had booked. Go there for the experience if you can !!!!
