Pavones Point — Hotel in Pavón

First of all the apartments are beautiful. Hats off to the owners and designer. Really well thought out and well done. Great location also right in front of the point. ||BUT such bad management and customer service! Pool was closed for half of our stay for cleaning- we literally only stayed here due to the pool. Also power and water were put for half the night. For $300usd per night think they would have a back up generator. This is an issue as there is no drinking water. That would be fine if maybe the management offered guests a bottle or 2 of water but no such luck. Also no communication on check out or check in time and lots of additional charges they don’t tell you about! ||Also safety concerns- rusty rebar coming though the steps and electrical wires running through the pool! ||Overall a great location and beautiful apartments but needs new management! This location and property is awesome but what made it so special is the staff. Mili and Kenneth are top shelf A#1 you can have the best property but it's the staff that makes or breaks your beautiful property. Your property is only as good as the people who manage it, and who take care of your needs and wants. Mili and Kenneth encompass what is first class service!!! Our stay was good but Mili and Kenneth made it excellent .they truly care about there customers needs and satisfaction. For example we rented a 4 wheeler brand new from the resort and Kenneth arranged a guide, not only that but came in on his day off and went with us to translate. Pavones is not a high volume destination. It is off the beaten path, which is what I liked. It is about an hour or so from the highway to Golfito. Road is a mix of very well paved and some gravel but nothing that will be of concern. Any car will do it and you don’t need a 4x4 and there are not hills on the route. As for Pavones Point. Fantastic home, well equipped, high quality interiors and great people. Property is well managed, right across from beach and walking distance to food places and supermarkets.
