I did not stay at the hotel, so I am avoiding room rating. But I think they will be nice. From the outlook, the hotel is very close to the main highway with beautiful restaurants on street level and on the pool level. The rooms are bungalows spread on the property. Lovely little houses. The pool has the best view of the resort and is large with a restaurant. Very convenient. The view is mainly of the beautiful Forrest and some of the ocean. Nice place to stay.

This is one of the few hotels open late if you arrive in the region later in the evening. The rates are excellent and the rooms are good with nice views of the forest. The breakfast is good and the staff is very helpful. There’s good birdwatching from the rooms in the back in the morning.

We stopped here for lunch on our travels. The food was SO GOOD!! Best meal and cheapest we have had so far as we make our way south! Highly recommend stopping for some food. We didn’t stay here so I can’t comment on the rooms, however the resort looks nice!

Writing this review is not easy for me as I hate being negative about anywhere I have visited. There is much good about this hotel which I will start with. The staff and people are helpful and friendly, the setting is magical and the rooms comfortable enough, giving a real rainforest feel.||So what was the problem? The whole hotel had a real rundown, not properly maintained or cared for . It was all round dingy without being dirty or unpleasant and just had a atmosphere of quiet despair.||My main issue was that, as someone else has commented is with the website. The pictures do not reflect any sort of current reality about what to expect and may or not reflect reality at some previous point of time. Two points on this; the pictures show a bar, not open even in high season. Worse, for us, the website promises a menu.which we were never offered either at breakfast or the one occasion when we had dinner there (don't bother)! What was on offer was inadequate in portion size and things like fruit for breakfast we had to ask for: it was never offered.||I hate being sold something under false pretences and this was the case here. If it had been cheaper I might have made some allowances, but it was not cheap and I feel sure we (and you) could do a lot better for the price. A shame and I hope it pulls it socks up but it gave every impression to me of a business about to return...

We stayed in over 10 properties whilst in Costa Rica and this was by far the worst.||Firstly the photo's on show were probably taken years ago and bear no resemblance to the condition of the rooms today, certainly the one we slept in! Main issues were the room felt very damp, there were stains on the concrete floor and evidence of insects living in the room. The sliding doors did not lock easily, you needed 2 people to achieve this and even then there was a large gap left between the doors for insects/mosquitoes to enter. Bathroom was pretty grim too, did not feel clean and water pressure was not good.||The pool, again photos look great but they were probably taken many years ago, it is now looking very tired and lacking in tlc.||The whole place needs a re-vamp to bring it up to expected standards compared to many other similar type establishments available.||The reason this place is still popular is that there is not many options in this area so you are stuck for choice.||Bar/food area was pleasant enough as...
